In the beginning he established them with all of the authority and tools necessary to complete this task. However, because of disobedience and at times fear, they relinquish their God given authority. "Men Begat Men", challenges men to "conduct themselves like men'. In the foundational scripture, Samuel is the leader of Israel and he is about to take the Ark of the Covenant into the Philistine camp. As they approach, the Philistines hear, and being familiar with what God did on their (Hebrews) behalf with the Egyptians, step up their efforts and encourage one                                                                                                                                                              another by saying "Be strong 0 ye Philistines, conduct yourselves like men, be not servants to the Hebrews as they were of you, conduct yourselves like men and fight." The Philistines defeated the children of Israel. The attitude of the Philistines is the attitude that men of God should have and be able to produce in    other men. They should know the power and authority they have, how to use it, so as   not to be defeated, but to conquer and draw others.   PURPOSE:  Establish a setting whereby men can come together in faith, and receive    instruction to stimulate spiritual growth, and minister to the  needs of daily living. FUCTION: To gather men of faith together, to build the character, integrity, and unity of Men   MINISTRY TOOLS:  Bible Study (Monthly) - cover topics of daily living Conference or Retreat (Yearly) - fellowship of outside ministries Seminars (Bi-monthly) - minister to specific issues Social Activities (Bi-monthly)- bowling, sporting events,   STAFF:  Director, Assistant Director, Bible Study Teachers, Prayer Leader, Activities Coordinator
